2020 - Suspensions of all Volleyball Leagues

Suspension of Competitions
12th March 2020 – In view of recent developments relating to the situation of the COVID-19 coronavirus in Malta, the Malta Volleyball Association has decided to indefinitely suspend, with immediate effect, all National Volleyball Competitions.

Whilst this is a precautionary measure, and no members of the Association have, to date, been found positive to COVID-19, it is a decision taken in the interest of all the Association’s players, coaches and officials, whose safety is the Association’s primary concern.

Further decisions relating to the continuation of the National Competitions shall be taken as the situation develops and be communicated accordingly.
