2023 - Torneo delle Due Isole

Birkirkara Volleyball Club (BKVC) was invited to participate in the “Toreno delle Due Isole” International Tournament between the 14th and 16th of April, organised by Ragusa Volley (IT). BKVC will participate with three teams, U17, U19 and seniors, totalling 35 players and two technical staff. Our teams will play against strong opponents from the Ragusa region, Ragusa Volley and Giarratana.

Our young U17 players will be in action on Friday 14th, playing against the formation from Ragusa. Our Superleague players will take the court after our BKVC Gialli in their opening match. The Birkirkara senior team will face strong opposition from Ragusa.

The Senior team will participate in a training session held by Mr Lucio Sascaro from Ragusa Volley on Saturday morning. Mr Sascaro is a sports veteran and won awards from the Italian Federation for his sterling work towards the game. Games will resume in the afternoon, with BKVC U19 taking the court against Giarratana.
