BKVC’s Eventful Weekend of Volleyball Action
Last week, our club participated in four competitive matches across different categories, showcasing determination and skill throughout. Here's a recap of the action-packed weekend:
Saturday Matches: BKVC vs. Paola VC
The day began with a tough match for our U19 Vixens, who faced Paola VC. Despite a spirited effort, the Vixens fell short, losing 3-1 and narrowly missing out on clinching the 3 points.
Later in the day, the BKVC Reds took on Paola VC in a closely contested match. Both teams displayed commendable determination, but Paola’s consistency secured them a 3-0 victory. Congratulations to both Paola teams for their well-earned wins!
Sunday Success for BKVC
Sunday brought redemption as our U17 Thunder Spikes and Super League women’s team delivered stellar performances, both under the guidance of Coach Dalton.
- U17 Thunder Spikes: The team dominated their match against Flyers VC, delivering a decisive 3-0 win with skillful play and teamwork.
- Super League Women: Facing Mgarr VC in a high-stakes match, our women’s team overcame several injuries to claim a thrilling 3-2 victory. The match was a grueling 2-hour-and-35-minute battle, but the Birkirkara squad’s resilience and determination secured the win.
