Montenegro’s star player Ksenija Ivanovic announces retirement

Ksenija Ivanovic, one of Montenegro’s best female Volleyball players, has announced her retirement from competitive sport. She played her last match on Monday together with Swietelsky BÉKÉSCSABA in the Hungarian national league finals.

During her career, she defended the colours of Buducnost, Podgorica, Zrenjanin, Klek, Charleroi, Wiesbaden, and Telekom BAKU, with whom she won the Azerbaijan National Championship title.

She spent the last two seasons in Hungary, playing there for Swietelsky BÉKÉSCSABA. She played for the national team of Montenegro since 2008.
