2026 - Sit Play Connect
On Saturday 23rd May, Birkirkara Volleyball Club (BKVC) once again joined forces with Paravolley Malta to close the 2025–2026 season with an unforgettable celebration of volleyball, inclusion, and community spirit.
Players, parents, friends, and supporters came together for a vibrant mixed tournament that blended both standing and sitting volleyball into one incredible event. For many participants, this marked their very first experience with the adapted sport of sitting volleyball — an experience that inspired, challenged, and united everyone involved.
The event not only celebrated the end of another successful technical season, but also marked the beginning of a historic new journey for BKVC. For the very first time in Malta, a local volleyball club will proudly compete in the European Club Sitting Volleyball Championships in Slovenia.
The atmosphere throughout the day reflected everything volleyball stands for — teamwork, passion, inclusion, friendship, and resilience. Standing volleyball and sitting volleyball shared the same court, proving once again that sport has the power to bring people together beyond all boundaries.
